How do I book a class or create an account?
We use the MINDBODY booking system. You can download our app 'Self Pilates and Wellness" for iPhone or android, here you can book, view classes, see pricing, purchase, cancel classes and anything else you might need to make your experience smooth.
I’m new to pilates, where should I start?
Our 'All Levels' classes are suitable for the complete beginner through to those wanting to refine their practice. Our small groups mean we can modify accordingly as we go along.
How often should I do pilates?
We love to move our bodies daily (all and any kind of movement that is) and suggest 2-3 times per week either mat or reformer pilates.
What’s the waitlist?
If a class you particularly want is fully booked please sign up for the waiting list. Should a place become available then you will receive either an email or text from us offering you a place in the class. You are under no obligation to take a waitlisted offer, however we do ask that you respond by notifying us if you can attend or not. If you cannot make it, your place will be offered to the next client.
What do I bring, what do I wear, I'm kinda nervous?
We simply want you to be yourself, feel like yourself and connect to yourself. All of your props and equipment are provided. We've got you covered from towels, filtered water and refreshments to hands on assist. Just wear whatever you like! Comfort is key whilst moving and we don't mind If you wear your latest and greatest activewear or if your in your oldest daggy sweat pants. We do suggest grip socks when participating in our Reformer classes and these are available for purchase in the studio.
I am pregnant, can I still do a class? I have an injury can I still do a class?
Our highly trained teachers take pride and care with every participant. There are no 'Blanket' rules for individuals who may be injured or who may be pregnant. Please contact us prior to scheduling your class in order ensure your best experience and safety.
